FENCE PROJECT In the summer of 2008 the Eastham Police Union offered their services to the Eastham Recreation Department to assist in putting up a split rail fence at Wiley Park Beach.  On an early July morning several union members were able to install the fence along the wood line at the beach.  The fence helped to improve the overall image of this very popular Eastham pond, as well as prevent children from wondering into the wooded area where poison ivy is prevalent.  The union hopes to work more in the future with other town departments striving to improve the Town of Eastham. www.easthampoliceunion.org
